In May, 2009 Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine enacted a decree, asserting The Order of labeling of food products that contain GMO or are made from them. The introduction of obligatory marking of products with GMO is foreseen since July, 1 2009. According to the decree of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine №468 dd. May 13, 2009 (with changes made by the decree of CM №661 dd. July 1, 2009), producers (suppliers) must label food products, containing GMO in volume more than 0,9%, by filling in of inscription "With GMO".
