Ingredients:
- 200 g of fine-ground barley
- 1 l of milk
- salt
- 100 g of butter or margarine
- 100 g of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300 g of dried fruits
- rusks
Preparation:
Cook a steep porridge from groats in milk. Wash dried fruits with warm water, rinse them with boiling water. Beat butter or margarine with sugar, add the yolks, cut dried fruits and mix them up with the porridge. Beat egg-whites, carefully mix them with the mass, lay everything out on a form smeared with butter and covered with rusks, bake it in the oven and serve with milk or sweet sauce.
